If a ‘dollar store’ (and there a plenty around) is good, is a ‘two dollar store’ (have never seen one) even better?

Gee, you may be right. Hadn’t thought of that. Remember Woolworth at Pittsford Plaza where you could have a soda & sandwich at the counter? Are there any WW left, anyplace?

Well, it should be based on you get what you pay for but I suppose the law of supply and demand might also come into effect here, Steve.

Do you have ‘Dollar Général’ stores, or reasonable facsimiles? They’re popular in the States. You can find some good deals but have to be careful on some products where then price is jacked. ‘Buyer beware’!

No, we don’t have those kinds of shops here in South Africa.

Hee. We definitely have the Dollar Store here and something called Dollarama, I think. Most everything I want in the Dollar Store is more than a dollar, so I usually just leave. 😀

We have a Dollar Tree I go to, but I get a kick out of Dollar General – they have one table of $1. merchandise and everything else in the store is $5 and $10.
