I’ve posted this in the past but every new snow event has me coming back to it. Today, March 11 and approaching Spring, was no different. A fresh coating of snow with more on the way next week brought out the story to share, again. Please enjoy and maybe recall your own youthful days when you were expected to do chores around the house…
Today, I Shoveled Snow…Again!

I loved it this time too, Steve.

Loved this Steve. I wrote about snow clearing here:

Peter, what a great accounting of your efforts to get to school. And drat those town plow, they haven’t changed. When our driveway gets clear, the town plow comes buy and pushes fees snow back where we just cleaned it. I say something stronger than ‘frat’😉.
That girl doesn’t know what she missed😂

Having spent many a winter in Alaska and Maine, your story hits a familiar note. My last few years in Maine found me newly divorced and handling much of this on my own. Snow shoveled – shower – shovel again although less – go to work – then, at the end of the day, trying to get out of the parking lot without shoveling again. Take good care out there, my friend.

Shoveling out of a parking spot is awful. Driving in it is another challenge but we have all the equipment to clear roads so nothing slows down and schools generally don’t close, rarely anyway. We average 90-100” per season although this year we’re way below it, probably by 50%. Stay warm and dry.

Well worth repeating, Steve. We never had that much snow. If we had I expect the job would have been mine

I expect it would have, Derrick. A great workout for all the muscles in your body, and then some 🙀. Thanks for commenting.
